The club acts as a forum for people to raise issues, that affect local
businesses and the community as a whole. It has strong support from the local
council and other business organisations. The club was formed in the middle of
2004 and its membership is growing all the time.
Retford's market town heritage has helped it to be a strong force for local
businesses within Nottinghamshire and this is something the club hopes to
promote and encourage.
The club was initially formed by Streets Chartered Accountants who have kindly
helped to fund the club initially and who strongly support its events.
